Producer D’Mario gains freedom from Luzira Prison earlier than expected

Renowned audio producer and hitmaker D’Mario of Legend Production Studios has finally regained his freedom following his release from Luzira Prison.

Born Isaac Kahuju, D’Mario was released through the Nakawa Chief Magistrate’s Court after several of his colleagues from the tourism industry reportedly intervened and worked on securing his production warrant.

The producer was arrested in the last week of May following an incident at a hangout spot in Kasanga.

Reports indicate that a misunderstanding arose after he allegedly broke a shisha pot while leaving a seat that was said to belong to Eritrean patrons.

Following the incident, D’Mario was immediately taken to Kabalagala Police Station before being remanded to Luzira Prison in less than 24 hours.

His release comes earlier than expected, considering he had been scheduled to return to court on June 16 for the second hearing of the case.

According to reports, D’Mario is expected to undertake community service as part of the ongoing legal process until the matter is fully resolved and eventually dismissed.
