Gloria Bugie has revealed her top five favorite artists of 2026 so far, placing herself at the top of the list ahead of some of the biggest names in the music industry.
While in a quick interview with MC Casmir, the singer was challenged to name the musicians she has enjoyed listening to the most this year. Without hesitation, Gloria confidently ranked herself as her number one artist.
“Number 1 is Gloria Bugie. Number 2 is Vyroota,” she said.
Her choice of Vyroota comes at a time when the singer is enjoying massive success with his hit song Toma, featuring producer and artist Nessim, which has become one of the most talked-about tracks in the country.
Gloria then placed Joshua Baraka in third position, recognizing the young star’s continued rise and impact on Uganda’s music scene.
For her fourth pick, she looked beyond Uganda and selected South African sensation Tyla. Gloria specifically highlighted Tyla’s latest song Chanel as one of the tracks currently dominating her playlist.
The fifth and final spot went to Nigerian artist FOLA, who first gained widespread attention following the release of his hit song Ginger Me featuring Bella Shmurda.
