Sean “Diddy” Combs has been hit with a fresh lawsuit filed by a man who alleges the music mogul sexually assaulted him when he was a minor after promising to discuss career opportunities.
According to court documents obtained by multiple U.S. media outlets, the plaintiff, identified only as John Doe, claims he was a working child actor when he attended a networking event at a Hollywood Hills residence in 2007.
The man alleges that he met Combs at the gathering and was later invited to a private conversation about potential opportunities in the entertainment industry.
In the lawsuit, the plaintiff claims the encounter turned inappropriate and left him feeling uncomfortable before he eventually left the party in shock.
He is seeking unspecified damages from Combs and other individuals he claims had a duty to ensure his safety at the event.
Through his representative, Juda Engelmayer, Combs strongly denied the allegations.
“The allegations from this so-called nameless child actor are false and ridiculous. He’s just another hater in a long list of people trying to get in on the money gravy train encouraged by personal injury lawyers,” the statement read.
Engelmayer added that Combs has never sexually assaulted anyone and insisted the allegations would ultimately be disproved.
The latest lawsuit adds to the growing number of legal challenges facing the rapper and businessman, who has repeatedly denied wrongdoing in the various allegations brought against him.
