Emcee Top Boy MC has shared his current top five Ugandan songs, giving fans a glimpse into the tracks dominating his playlist right now.
Speaking in a sit-down interview with our publication, Top Boy MC praised several artists who have been making waves in the music industry and ranked his favorite songs in order.
At number one, he selected Azawi’s hit song Addict, applauding the singer for her consistency and efforts.
“Azawi is doing really, really good and I pick ‘Addict’,” he said.
For his second pick, Top Boy MC chose Elijah Kitaka’s Ekiri Mu Leesu, a song that has continued to receive praise from music lovers across the country.
His third selection was Dax Vibez’s latest project, Aeiou.
Top Boy MC then placed Fik Fameica’s Champion Gal in fourth position, noting that it is one of the songs currently enjoying massive popularity among fans.
When it came to his fifth and final pick, the presenter could not hide his admiration for Kapeke, insisting that the fast-rising singer deserves a place on every Ugandan music fan’s playlist.
“Then who doesn’t have Kapeke on their list? Are you sane? Are you sane to be a Ugandan when you don’t have Kapeke on your list?”
He ultimately selected Kapeke’s London to complete his top five list.
