Nalongo Kitone Defends Ivan Segujja Amid Viral Property Dispute Claims

Nalongo Kitone has come out strongly in defense of Ivan Segujja (Nsambya Furniture) following a viral video that sparked speculation about a property dispute involving him and Mirembe Irene Nagawa.

The video circulated widely over the weekend and triggered intense debate on social media, with some reports suggesting it showed a confrontation linked to the couple’s reported separation and property disagreements.

Kitone, however, rejected that interpretation and insisted the public had misunderstood what happened.

That cannot be Ivan Segujja behaving in that way because he is too holy to act weird like the people seen in that video.

While many social media users interpreted the footage as a fight over property, Kitone argued that the people in the video looked more like individuals attempting to steal property than a couple engaged in a domestic dispute.

Those were not people fighting over property. I saw men who looked like robbers trying to steal Ivan Segujja’s property from the house.

The outspoken commentator also criticised journalists who linked the incident to a property wrangle and warned that those who published the claims without verification could face legal action.

I am going to sue journalists who have gone ahead to say these two were fighting for property without verifying the truth.

Kitone further questioned the actions of individuals who allegedly entered the property at night, arguing that no court would authorise such conduct.

Court has never given anyone a right to go into someone’s home in the late hours claiming they want what belongs to them. That was completely wrong.

As the debate surrounding the video continues online, Kitone maintains that many people rushed to conclusions before establishing the facts.

She also urged women to exercise caution when handling personal and legal disputes, specifically referencing Mirembe.

Women like Mirembe need to be very careful when making decisions in their lives, especially when emotions and property issues are involved.
