Shakib Cham has finally addressed the state of his bonkship with classy socialite Zari Hassan, firmly dismissing claims that the couple had called it quits.
Speaking during an interview, Shakib clarified that reports of a breakup were blown out of proportion and stemmed from a minor misunderstanding between the pair.
According to Shakib, the speculation gained traction after Zari made public comments suggesting trouble in paradise. However, he insists the situation was never serious enough to signal the end of their relationship.
“Zari and I have never broken up. Just because someone is upset with you does not mean the relationship has ended. These things happen in every relationship,” he said.
Shakib revealed that even on the day Zari shared a post that many interpreted as a breakup announcement, the couple remained in contact and continued communicating throughout the disagreement.
“We were still talking. It was just a misunderstanding, and we sorted it out shortly afterwards,” he explained.
Shakib’s remarks come at a time when fans had been closely following the couple’s relationship after weeks of speculation online. It got more interesting when Zari didn’t travel to Kenya to support her man during his highly publicized boxing match.
Shakib delivered an impressive performance in the ring, knocking out musician Arrow Bwoy and securing a decisive victory.
Shakib and Zari have been together for nearly five years and officially formalized their union in 2023 through an intimate Nikkah ceremony attended by close family members and friends.
