Damasco Ssesanga will finally realise a dream he has carried for years when he stages his first major concert on August 14 at Nsereko Cultural Centre in Ntinda.
As preparations gather pace, the gospel singer has appealed to fans and well-wishers to stand with him by attending the event.

This concert has been my dream for many years, and I thank God that it is finally becoming a reality. I call upon everyone to come and support me as we worship together on August 14.
For Damasco, the concert is also an opportunity to continue a ministry that extends beyond the stage.
He says the proceeds will help him care for vulnerable children he has supported over the years.

The money I raise from this concert will help me continue looking after vulnerable children because that is a ministry God has placed on my heart.
The concert has already drawn support from fellow gospel ministers.
Pastors Wilson Bugembe, Twina Herbert, and Isaac Rwomushana attended the launch alongside other gospel musicians ahead of the August 14 event.
