KATSEYE has shared a fresh update on member Manon, saying the group will support her for as long as she needs as she continues her break from group activities.
Speaking in a recent interview with Allure, the members said Manon’s well-being remains their top priority and stressed that there is no pressure for her to return before she is ready.
Leader Sophia said the group wants Manon to focus on herself rather than worry about meeting expectations.
It is not our place or anybody else’s place to rush her. We want to give her all the time that she needs.
The update comes months after HYBE x Geffen announced that Manon would take a temporary hiatus to focus on her health and well-being following discussions with the singer.
At the time, the agency said KATSEYE would continue its scheduled activities as a five-member group while Manon took time away to recover. No timeline was given for her return.
Despite promoting without her, the members made it clear they still consider KATSEYE a six-member group and are looking forward to performing together again when Manon feels ready.
The group’s latest comments have reassured fans who have continued to express concern over Manon’s absence from recent performances and promotional activities.
For now, KATSEYE will continue its current schedule while supporting Manon’s recovery, with the group emphasizing that her health comes before any comeback or public appearance.
