Singer Bruno K has extended his support to the individuals whose claims of being the biological children of the late Kadongo Kamu legend Paul Job Kafeero were dismissed following the recently concluded DNA tests.
The singer has continued to use his popular Ekiboozi TikTok Live sessions to mobilize financial support for the affected families, saying the DNA results should not define the lives or futures of those who were not confirmed as Kafeero’s children.
Days after leading a fundraising campaign that raised more than Shs20 million and secured a plot of land for Godfrey Muwanguzi Kafeero, Bruno K returned to TikTok with another appeal on behalf of the remaining claimants whose paternity claims were rejected.
During the live broadcast, well-wishers donated Shs12 million for each of the rejected children, with the funds intended to support them as they move forward despite the emotional outcome of the DNA exercise.
Bruno K emphasized that while science had settled the question of biological parentage, it should not diminish the value, dignity, or aspirations of those who had believed Paul Kafeero was their father.
His latest initiative has earned widespread praise from Ugandans on social media, with many commending him for turning his platform into a source of hope and practical assistance for young people caught up in one of the country’s most publicized family disputes.
The fundraising follows the release of DNA results that brought to a close the long-running paternity saga surrounding the late Kadongo Kamu icon. Of the 25 individuals who underwent DNA testing, only four—Simon Peter Kafeero, Thomas Swaz Kafeero, Elizabeth Nagawa, and Benedict Kafeero—were confirmed to be the singer’s biological children.
Rather than allowing those whose claims were rejected to be forgotten, Bruno K has continued to rally public support, helping them begin a new chapter backed by compassion and generosity from well-wishers.
