Jose Chameleone has confirmed that his marriage to Daniella Atim is officially over, bringing an end to one of Uganda’s most closely followed celebrity relationships.
Speaking on NBS After 5, the music legend revealed that the divorce process has finally been completed, describing it as the end of a difficult chapter in his life.

I have been going through a lot, but I am okay. I am going through a divorce, and everything has been finalized. I was supposed to be in court yesterday, June 29. Everything that has a beginning has an end.
Instead of revisiting old wounds, Chameleone reflected on what the marriage gave him.
I thank Mama Abba for the five children she gave me and for the time we shared together.
He acknowledged that life in the entertainment industry can put relationships under immense pressure, but said family disagreements are not battles worth fighting in public.
It is not easy to date someone in our profession. I do not keep quiet when it comes to the truth, but family conflicts cannot be won. She is the mother of my children, and I want my children to learn that silence is the best way to handle such matters.
Chameleone and Daniella spent more than 17 years together before deciding to legally end their marriage.
The divorce proceedings addressed issues including child custody, financial support and the division of family property as both parties worked towards a final settlement.
For Chameleone, accepting the end of the marriage did not mean abandoning respect for the family they built together.
I reached a breaking point, but I knew it would eventually come to an end. I chose to respect her and my children.
