Martin Kafeero, one of the people who was not confirmed as a biological child of the late Paul Kafeero by the recent DNA exercise, has spoken out about the emotional impact of the findings.
Appearing on Sanyuka Uncut, Martin admitted the outcome was painful for those who had always believed they belonged to the late Kadongo Kamu legend’s family.
With visible emotion, he said he and others who were left out by the DNA results have decided to move forward together after feeling rejected.

Although brief, Martin’s remarks reflected the disappointment felt by several people whose claims were not supported by the DNA exercise.
The findings, released on June 25, confirmed that only four of the 25 people who underwent testing were biological children of the late Paul Kafeero, bringing years of uncertainty over the Kadongo Kamu legend’s lineage to an end.
For Martin and others who were excluded by the results, however, the emotional journey appears far from over.
His comments suggest they are now looking to forge their own path after feeling shut out by the family they believed was theirs.
