Ugandan socialite Shanita Namuyimbwa, popularly known as Bad Black, has finally revealed why she postponed her highly anticipated white wedding to longtime partner Asha Panda.
The couple held a glamorous kukyala, a lavish kwanjula on December 30, 2025, and a high-profile wedding budget launch ahead of their planned Valentine’s Day 2026 wedding.
But just weeks before the big day, Bad Black postponed the wedding indefinitely, leaving fans and critics alike wondering what had happened.

At the time, reports linked the postponement to Bad Black’s recovery from cosmetic procedures, including a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) and liposuction.
Other reports also claimed that she used part of the money raised during the couple’s fundraising events to pay for the surgeries and invest in a business.
Now, Bad Black has shared her side of the story.
Speaking on Sanyuka Bigenda Bitya, she revealed that finances constraints not relationship problems, are behind the postponement.

I postponed it. My dream wedding is on the water, but I am not yet financially stable enough for that. My man and I have not prepared for it yet, and we are not in a rush.
The socialite says she refuses to settle for anything less than her dream waterfront wedding, even if that means waiting longer to walk down the aisle.
