Nagawa Angel, who claims to be one of the late Kadongo Kamu legend Paul Kafeero‘s daughters, has shared an emotional account of why she failed to take part in the recently concluded DNA testing exercise.
Speaking on Sanyuka Uncut, Nagawa said she believes Kafeero was her father but never got the chance to prove it.
According to her, relatives on her mother’s side prevented her from attending the exercise, denying her the opportunity to establish whether she is one of Kafeero’s biological children.
The experience continues to weigh heavily on her, and she says she dreams about the late singer almost every day.
I dream about my father every day. He tells me to look for my family.
Nagawa also recalled meeting Kafeero when she was in Primary Three, a childhood memory she says has stayed with her over the years.
Her remarks come days after DNA results identified only four biological children among the 25 people who participated in the exercise.
Nagawa now hopes she will get another opportunity to undergo DNA testing and finally establish whether she is indeed one of Paul Kafeero’s biological children.
