Bad black, real name Shanitah Namuyimbwa, has moved the ‘Beauty Beyond The Scars’ event from Kabira Country Club, Bukoto, to Protea Hotel Kampala Skyz, Naguru.
Beauty Beyond The Scars is an all-female event for powerful healing, empowerment, and restoration for women from all walks of life.
The event that is scheduled for 12th September 2026 is expected to host a variety of top female artists, public figures, and media personalities, making up a star-studded list of panelists set to drive the conversations and tell their raw stories to inspire, restore, and empower sisterhood.
Talking about the change of venue, Bad Black revealed to Mbu that she anticipates a bigger crowd of over 1000 women, hence the choice of a bigger venue at Protea Hotel Kampala Skyz, Naguru.
We’ve changed the location to Protea Hotel Kampala Skyz, Naguru, due to the growing number of expected attendees. Skyz will accommodate more than 1000 women.
