MC Esco has dismissed long-standing claims that his relationship with media personality Haffy Powers began as a bet, insisting that their romance developed naturally and was never the result of a dare from his friends.
Speaking during an interview on The Deep Talk, the father of Haffy Powers’ child was asked to address the rumour that he had been challenged by friends to approach the media personality and “win” her as part of a wager.
The question followed Haffy Powers’ previous revelation that a man had once been dared to pursue her, prompting speculation that she was referring to MC Esco.
Responding to the claims, MC Esco firmly denied ever taking part in such a bet. “There was no bet on my side and everything was natural,” he said.
He explained that while their relationship was genuine, maintaining it proved difficult because people often have different personalities in private than the image they present to the public.
MC Esco added that relationships come with many challenges, especially for young couples who may not be fully prepared for marriage.
Without directly criticizing Haffy Powers, he said there were several issues that contributed to their separation.
Pressure of being two people in a relationship isn’t easy. As a youth you aren’t ready for marriage even if you deceive yourself that you are, and in the end, you somehow get problems.
