Pallaso Backs DNA Testing, Says Every Child Deserves to Know Their Father

Ugandan singer Pius Mayanja, popularly known as Pallaso, has weighed in on the growing conversation around DNA testing, saying he fully trusts the science behind it.

Speaking on Sanyuka TV, Pallaso dismissed any doubts about the credibility of DNA tests.

DNA is scientifically proven, so why would I doubt it, and on what basis? I have every reason to believe in it, but I have no reason to doubt it. So, I believe in it.

His comments come in the wake of the government’s DNA findings involving the late Kadongo Kamu legend Paul Job Kafeero.

The official forensic results, released on June 25, 2026, confirmed that only four of the 25 people who claimed to be Kafeero’s children are his biological offspring.

The Police Forensic Laboratory and the Directorate of Government Analytical Laboratory (DGAL) conducted the tests after authorities exhumed the singer’s remains earlier that month.

Reflecting on the Kafeero saga, Pallaso stressed that every child deserves to know their biological father, while fathers also have a right to know their children.

Every child has the right to know who their father is, and every father has the right to know where his children are.
