Mathias Walukaga says one painful experience changed the way he thinks about fatherhood forever.
Today, the Kadongo Kamu musician insists no child will ever leave the hospital with him before a DNA test confirms he is the biological father.
I can never take a newborn baby home before DNA is done. If the results show the baby is not mine, I cannot even pay the hospital bills.
His stance comes from personal experience.
Walukaga revealed that DNA testing changed his life after he discovered that several children he believed were his were not biologically related to him.
The revelation forced him to rethink fatherhood, trust, and responsibility. Since then, he has come to believe that every man deserves certainty before embracing one of life’s biggest commitments.
His remarks come as DNA testing continues to dominate public discussion following the forensic findings in the late Paul Job Kafeero paternity case.
Unlike many others weighing in on the issue, Walukaga says he speaks from personal experience rather than theory.
Three DNA labs gave the same results on Kafeero’s children, yet some still doubt it. Good thing they’re mature enough to start their own families.- Mathias Walukaga #SanyukaUnCut #SanyukaUpdates #FfeBannoDdala pic.twitter.com/g8iwRWY1Yu
