The viral UGX 69 million Club Guvnor receipt left many Ugandans asking the same question: who is “Ivan?”
As screenshots of the receipt spread across social media, many assumed the name referred to the mystery guest who allegedly spent more than UGX 69 million during Saturday Night Fever, the weekly event hosted by media personality Sheilah Gashumba.
According to Sheilah, they got it wrong.

The Guvnor booth was named after Ivan Ssemwanga because that is where he used to sit.
The booth, she explained, honors the late businessman Ivan Ssemwanga, whose extravagant lifestyle and lavish spending made him one of Uganda’s most recognizable socialites.
That clarification only sparked another question.
Who actually paid the bill?
Sheilah says the mystery guest prefers to keep a low profile.
As followers asked her to reveal his identity or share his social media accounts, she disclosed that he does not use social media at all.

He has no social media.
Others jokingly asked the media personality to introduce them to her wealthy friends.
Sheilah responded with her trademark humor.
I have no money… I only have champagne & vibes.
She also celebrated another successful edition of Saturday Night Fever, saying the event continues to attract some of Kampala’s biggest spenders.
Hehe! When Sheilah Gashumba hosts, the big ballers come out LOUUDDDD!!
Although Sheilah has cleared up the mystery surrounding the name “Ivan,” the identity of the person behind the viral receipt remains unknown.
