Balaam Barugahara Ateenyi believes Bajjo Events deserves credit for choosing to return to school.
The veteran events promoter and Minister for Local Government says Bajjo made the right decision by continuing his education despite already building a successful career in Uganda’s entertainment industry.
Bajjo did a good job to go back to school. He did the right thing.
To Balaam, returning to the classroom is never a step backwards.
He believes people should continue learning whenever the opportunity presents itself, regardless of where they are in life or their careers.
The praise carries added significance because Bajjo had only hours earlier explained why education remains so important to him.
Using Irene Namatovu’s upcoming “Strong Woman Live in Concert” as an example, Bajjo revealed that the knowledge he gained at university, together with the practical experience he acquired during his internship at Balaam’s company, continues to influence the way he plans and organizes events.
He even credited those lessons for his decision to source the concert’s official tickets from China, saying they reinforced the importance of preparation, professionalism, and protecting fans from counterfeit tickets.
