Dr. Cephco wants his upcoming “Ekiki Gwe” charity concert to leave an impact beyond the stage.
The TikTok content creator says the event will raise support for people in need, and he hopes President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni will attend as the guest of honour.
As he rallied support for the concert, Cephco appealed directly to the President.
Your Excellency, I call upon you to come and support my concert called Ekiki Gwe. It is going to be a charity concert because I want to donate to the needy.
He said the President has supported him before, including during a meeting with content creators where he served as a translator.
Cephco also acknowledged the Minister of State for Local Government, Justine Nameere, for being among the first people to buy a ticket, saying the early support means a lot as preparations continue.
He then explained that the concert takes its name from “Ekiki Gwe,” a phrase he coined on TikTok that has since become popular across social media.
Joking about its popularity, he said people should pay him whenever they use it because he made it famous.
By combining entertainment with charity, Cephco hopes the concert will attract a large crowd willing to enjoy the show while contributing to a meaningful cause.
