Rapper Victor Kamenyo’s ex-partner and mother of his child, Ruth Akoragye, has threatened to publicly expose the rapper over what she describes as years of neglecting his parental responsibilities.
Speaking during a TikTok Live session, Akoragye revealed that she has been carrying emotional pain for a long time and warned that she is ready to speak out if the situation does not change.
She questioned why, according to her, some men make it difficult for mothers to secure support for their children, alleging that they expect women to beg for help or behave as though they are still in a romantic relationship before offering financial support.
Akoragye claimed that once a woman refuses to entertain such behavior, some fathers completely withdraw from their children’s lives, leaving mothers to shoulder responsibilities such as paying school fees and meeting other essential needs.
Soon, I will come out and express everything and the burden I’m carrying within my heart. I don’t think he will like it. I don’t know why men behave this way—that when it comes to looking after a child, you have to beg and plead, then act as if you’re still in love with them. When you outgrow such drama, the man reveals his true colours by refusing to take care of the child. Then you end up paying school fees and handling everything else.
She further warned that she has reached her breaking point after allegedly trying unsuccessfully to resolve the matter privately.
I’ve held a lot of pain inside me, but one day I will burst out and we’ll expose each other’s dirty linen. I’m giving him only this month. Otherwise, what is bound to come up won’t be nice for either of us. It won’t be about the trending things he always drags me into. I’m fed up and tired. I’ve tried to sit him down and talk about taking care of the child, but he has failed to change.
Victor Kamenyo has yet to publicly respond to Akoragye’s allegations but we hope will speak out soon.
