Former presidential candidate Munyagwa Mubarak Sserunga, popularly known as Mugati Gwa Bata, has shared his thoughts following the death of Nalongo Maggie Kiweesi, saying the Mayanja family is once again mourning a painful loss.
Speaking in an interview, Munyagwa said he especially feels for the mother of the late Emmanuel Mayanja, popularly known as AK47, noting that she has endured several tragedies over the years.
I feel very bad for the Mayanja family and especially the mother-in-law. A lot has happened to that family, and they are going through a lot of sorrow.
He also spoke about the future of AK47’s twins, saying their grandmother should take on the responsibility of raising them following the deaths of both their parents.
According to Munyagwa, children need consistent care and attention, something he believes would be difficult for busy musicians to provide.
You cannot give the children to Pallaso. These artists are always busy, and children need a lot of time and attention. Their grandmother is the one who can handle that responsibility.
Munyagwa said the children’s welfare should remain the family’s top priority during this difficult period, expressing hope that they receive the love and support they need as they grow up.
Maggie Kiweesi, the widow of AK47, died after a short illness, leaving behind the twins she shared with the late singer.
