Colombian singer-songwriter, dancer, and record producer Shakira Isabel Mebarak Ripoll has pledged her support for Uganda’s dance group, the Triplets Ghetto Kids, following a successful World Cup showcase.
On 19th July, Shakira and Burna Boy delivered a spectacular performance at the very first FIFA World Cup halftime show alongside the Triplets Ghetto Kids.
On Wednesday night, Shakira again performed with the Dauda Kavuma-led group at the famous Barclays Center in New York.
She used the opportunity to applaud the Ghetto Kids for being polite, disciplined, committed, and passionate, before pledging to support them.
