The Ghetto Kids have officially invited Uganda to welcome them home.
Fresh from making history at the FIFA World Cup final, the celebrated dance troupe announced that they will return on Monday, August 3, and asked fans, government officials, corporate companies and the media to receive them at Entebbe International Airport.
The group says the homecoming will begin at 10 am, before a press conference at HAMZ Stadium.

Our Brothers and Sisters Are Coming Home! We are calling upon well-wishers, fans, friends, companies, government officials and the media fraternity to join us on August 3 at 10 a.m. EAT at Entebbe International Airport as we return home! Press conference will be at HAMZ Stadium.
The announcement comes days after Douglas Lwanga appealed for a grand homecoming, urging Ugandans, corporate companies and the government to celebrate the dancers after their historic appearance at the FIFA World Cup final.
The Ghetto Kids shared the stage with Shakira and Burna Boy during the tournament’s first-ever halftime show, performing before millions of viewers around the world.

With the date now set, all that remains is to see how many Ugandans turn up to welcome one of the country’s biggest success stories home.
