Ifeoma Okoye, the wife of music executive Jude Okoye, has finally addressed the controversy after singer Peter Okoye, popularly known as Mr. P, made fresh allegations that pulled her into the ongoing P-Square family dispute.
She shared a statement on her official Instagram page on Monday, just hours after Peter released another episode of his video series about his long-running fallout with his elder brother over the management and ownership of the former P-Square group’s assets.
In the latest episode, Mr. P claimed that Jude tried to transfer his ownership rights in one of P-Square’s properties to Ifeoma.
Peter said he rejected the move after he discovered documents bearing her name.
Although she did not mention Peter or Jude by name, Ifeoma acknowledged the reports circulating about her and made it clear that she would not defend herself in public.
I have no desire to defend myself before those who are committed to misunderstanding me. Truth does not need manipulation to prevail, and I trust God to vindicate what is right.
She also urged people not to mistake her silence for fear, saying she had chosen to trust God instead of engaging in public accusations or arguments.
Drawing from the biblical story of Ananias and Sapphira, Ifeoma said no one can deceive God.
She described Him as the righteous judge who exposes falsehood and upholds the truth at the right time.
The message ended with a prayer for mercy, healing and restoration, asking God to soften hardened hearts, repair broken relationships and guide everyone involved toward truth, humility and peace.
Her statement adds another chapter to the growing public fallout between Peter and Jude Okoye, as Mr. P continues to level allegations over the management and ownership of P-Square’s assets.
