How 11-year-old Mwiza Santiana Nicolette uses her foundation to spread hope in Uganda

Through the Nicolette Foundation, a charitable initiative founded by her mother, Doreen Nakalema, Mwiza Santiana Nicolette, an 11-year-old Ugandan philanthropist, is making meaningful change to support vulnerable children, widows, and disadvantaged families.

Mwiza Santiana Nicolette, a pupil at Twinbrook International Uganda, has become the face of the foundation’s outreach activities, dedicating her time to spreading kindness and hope.

Through food donations, drinks, necessities, and community visits, the foundation continues to uplift families facing difficult circumstances while reminding them that they are not alone.

Nicolette attributes her passion for helping others to witnessing children and families struggle to access basic needs. Rather than standing by, she chose to become part of the solution.

Working alongside volunteers, well-wishers, and community partners, the Nicolette Foundation has reached vulnerable communities in different parts of Uganda.

Seeing children smile, families feel supported, and people come together to help one another is my greatest achievement.

Beyond providing material support, the organization focuses on restoring hope, encouraging unity, and inspiring compassion among young people and adults alike.

Despite its growing impact, the foundation continues to face financial challenges as the number of people seeking assistance increases.

It depends on donations from individuals, organizations, volunteers, and well-wishers who believe in its mission of giving hope to the less privileged.

With plans of expanding its reach by supporting more orphaned children and widows, promoting education, strengthening community outreach programs, and building partnerships, the Nicolette Foundation seeks to to serve even more people across Uganda.

Nicolette hopes her story will inspire fellow young people to use whatever they have to make a positive impact.

You are never too young to make a difference. Kindness has the power to change lives, and every small act of love matters. Together, we can bring hope to those who need it most and build a future where no child or family feels forgotten.
