Sanyuka TV producer Badru has died in a road accident along Entebbe Road that left entertainment presenter Brian Macona critically injured.
The crash occurred in the early hours of Friday in Namulanda, Wakiso District, as the three occupants were reportedly travelling back from a celebrity boxing match between Chicken Chicken and Shawa.
Badru, who also worked as a trade marketing officer at Sanyuka TV, died at the scene. Another passenger, identified as Isaac, also died in the crash.
Macona survived but sustained serious injuries and was rushed to Kisubi Hospital, where he was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). His condition was reported to be critical by Friday morning.
By press time, police had not issued an official statement on the cause of the accident.
