Taylor Swift‘s music has been removed from several social media posts connected to President Donald Trump and the White House after her songs appeared in political videos.
Swift’s song “August” was among the tracks that fans noticed disappearing from a Trump TikTok post, while other Swift songs had also appeared in recent Trump-related content.
The removals have drawn fresh attention because Swift has previously become a target of political debate surrounding the use of her music.
Neither the White House nor Swift’s representatives immediately commented on the removals, according to Reuters.
The development has once again placed Swift’s music at the centre of a political conversation, even as the singer herself has not publicly addressed the latest posts.
For now, it remains unclear why the songs disappeared from the videos.
