A viral clip circulating online has left viewers concerned after a woman appears to lose consciousness just seconds after making a bungee jump.
The footage shows her suspended from the cord after the jump before she appears to go limp while hanging in the air. A recovery team can then be seen attending to her.
The video has triggered widespread reactions, with viewers questioning what happened to her and whether she was okay after the jump.
Similar incidents have gone viral before. In February 2026, a video from Mount Abu, India, was falsely reported as showing a woman dying during a bungee jump.
Fact-checkers later confirmed that the woman, identified as Fiza Khan, was alive and had personally rejected the reports.
The latest clip, however, should not be confused with a separate tragedy in Brazil in June, where 21-year-old Maria Eduarda Rodrigues de Freitas died after being launched from a bridge without the required safety rope.
Authorities subsequently investigated the incident and arrested people connected to the operation.
While the circumstances surrounding the latest viral video remain unclear, the footage has once again put extreme adventure activities under the spotlight.
