Brian ‘Macona’ Ssemanda’s doctors have temporarily barred the public from visiting him at the hospital in an effort to accord him the best environment to recover.
The Sanyuka TV presenter has been bedridden since Friday, 7th August 2026, when he was involved in a car crash that claimed the lives of two colleagues at Next Media: Producer Badru Kasirye and Isaac Claude Ndamagye.
On Monday, it was revealed to us by a source that his health is improving as he continues to respond to treatment at a hospital in Kampala.
A statement released on Tuesday afternoon via the Next Media social media pages notes that “doctors have temporarily suspended visits to give him the best environment for his recovery.”
“We therefore ask those planning to visit him to kindly hold off until further notice,” the statement further reads.
