I’m out, thanks for your prayers – King Saha Speaks after brief detention – Sqoop

Singer King Saha has reassured his fans that he is back home after a brief detention on Tuesday, just days before his highly anticipated concert scheduled for Friday.

The “Mpa Love” hitmaker was reportedly abducted at his home in Kyanja after spending part of the day moving around Kampala promoting his upcoming show.

According to eyewitness accounts and videos circulating on social media, armed security personnel raided the singer’s residence before taking him away to an unknown destination.

Witnesses also claimed that gunshots were fired during the operation, with one man reportedly shot in the leg. The injured man was said to have been rushed to hospital for treatment, although his condition had not been officially confirmed by press time.

News of Saha’s detention quickly spread online, triggering concern among his fans, many of whom flooded social media with messages of support and prayers.

The singer later broke his silence with a brief message that appeared to reassure his followers that he was safe.

“I’m out, thanks for your prayers,” Saha said.

He did not provide details about the circumstances surrounding his detention, the reason for his arrest or where he had been held.

The incident has added an unexpected twist to the build-up to his Friday concert, which Saha had been actively promoting across Kampala in the days leading up to the show.

For now, the singer’s brief message has eased fears among his fans, while questions remain about what exactly led to his detention.
