Jowy Landa’s Amsterdam trip had music, performances and four new music videos in the mix, but Netherlands-based Ugandan content creator MC Richie also found himself at the centre of attention.
The singer, born Joan Namugerwa, travelled to the Netherlands about three weeks ago and kept busy with performances and other activities.
She toured during her stay and later revealed that she had shot four music videos while in Europe.
Still, people were paying attention to something else: Jowy and MC Richie seemed to be spending plenty of time together.
That was enough to trigger speculation about whether the two had become more than friends or colleagues.
Jowy returned to Uganda on August 3, but the questions did not disappear with her luggage.
Speaking on Galaxy TV, she finally addressed the speculation, describing Richie as her international social media manager.
And just to make the explanation a little more personal, Jowy thanked him affectionately as “Baby Ferrari.”
Yes, people speculated a lot about us, that maybe we are closer to each other. But MC Richie is like my international social media manager, so, of course, he has to take care of me. I thank you a lot. Baby Ferrari, I miss you already.
