Tom Holland’s ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ Powers Toward $2 Billion

Tom Holland’s Spider-Man: Brand New Day is swinging toward another huge box-office milestone.

The superhero blockbuster has raked in $1.67 billion worldwide, including more than $1 billion from international markets, just 12 days after its release.

That puts the film within striking distance of the $2 billion mark, as audiences continue to pack cinemas around the world.

Brand New Day has also become the second-fastest film ever to cross $1 billion internationally, with only Avengers: Endgame reaching the milestone faster.

The movie has been just as dominant at home.

Its second weekend in North America brought in roughly $145 million, giving it one of the biggest second-weekend performances in box-office history.

Holland’s latest outing as Peter Parker is now firmly among the biggest films of the year, and with the movie still playing in cinemas, the $2 billion milestone is increasingly within reach.
