Ask Feffe Bussi when he plans to get married and you might want to brace yourself for the answer.
The Lugaflow artist faced the question during a recent interview with Daily Soup, but instead of giving a wedding timeline, he challenged the pressure people put on adults to settle down.
Stop imposing gestation periods on us. We are not animals. We are human beings, and human beings have brains to decide for themselves when they are ready, especially when they are above 18.
Then Feffe took the argument somewhere only he could.
He compared the pressure to a pregnancy timeline, dismissing the idea that marriage should follow a fixed period.
Stop putting gestation periods on us. It [marriage] is not pregnancy that I need 9 months.
The joke, however, came with a serious warning about what happens when people start measuring their lives against everyone else’s.
That is how you pressure people into rushing into marriage just to be like everyone else, even when they are not ready.
So if anyone was hoping to squeeze a wedding date out of Feffe Bussi, they may have to wait.
He would rather choose his own time than walk down the aisle because somebody else thinks the clock is ticking.
