A simmering dispute involving singer King Saha’s baby mama, Rachael Kentey Birungi Akandwanaho, and artist Winnie Wa Mummy has now taken a legal turn, with the former reporting the latter to police over alleged cyber harassment.
Birungi filed the complaint at Kampala Metropolitan Police East Regional Police Station, where it was registered under reference number KMP/EGF141/2026.
According to the police record, Birungi is listed as the complainant, while Winnie Wa Mummy is named as the suspect. The reported offence is cyber harassment.
It has been said that Winnie Wa Mummy has over years been verbally attacking Birungi Akandanwaho and that she also involved her team as well to keep attacking her.
While the police reference confirms that a complaint was made, it does not by itself establish that Winnie Wa Mummy committed the alleged offence. Any determination of wrongdoing will depend on police investigations and, if necessary, further legal proceedings.
Cyber-related disputes involving public figures have become increasingly common, particularly as social media has blurred the line between private disagreements and public entertainment. What might once have remained a personal quarrel can quickly become a public spectacle when posts, comments, videos or messages are shared with thousands of followers.
