Doja Cat has unexpectedly turned on Tyga over his use of artificial intelligence (AI) on his new album, $TARFACE.
The two artistes have worked together before, most notably on “Juicy” and “Freaky Deaky,” but their past collaborations did not stop Doja from taking a brutal swipe at the rapper during a livestream.

Tyga has admitted using AI while producing $TARFACE, which draws heavily from 1980s sounds. However, he has rejected the suggestion that AI made the entire project.
He said the technology helped with elements such as synthesizers and guitar sounds, while he wrote the lyrics and recorded the vocals himself.
The album has also attracted attention for another reason. Pitchfork gave $TARFACE a 0.0/10 in a scathing review.
With the album already facing criticism from critics, Doja Cat’s blunt reaction has added another headline to Tyga’s controversial release.
