Singer Spice Diana, real name Hajjarah Namukwaya, has opened up about her deep friendship and close bond with fellow singer Irene Namatovu, despite the two belonging to different generations.
The Siri Regular singer described her friendship with Namatovu as deeply rooted, revealing that the two have maintained a strong relationship since they first became close.

Spice Diana noted that even when she does not ask Namatovu for anything, the veteran singer makes it a point to check on her, either through phone calls or personal visits.
She added that Namatovu often offers her positive advice and takes time to discuss issues in her life, whether things are going well or not.
She is my very good friend, and our friendship is deeply rooted to the core. She gives positive advice to many of us and other people out there. On my side, even when I don’t ask anything from her, she makes it a must to check on me, either through a phone call or by visiting my place. We discuss issues that may be going right or wrong. She’s indeed a mother.
Spice Diana further praised Namatovu for being the kind of person who does not hesitate to reach out whenever someone makes a mistake.
She said Namatovu trusts the people around her with her personal issues and projects, making them feel valued and respected.
Even when you make a mistake, she calls you. She trusts people with her issues and projects. She makes you feel that you have value and respects you. That’s why I also reciprocate the love and favour she shows me.
For Spice Diana, the relationship goes beyond friendship, with Namatovu serving as a motherly figure whose guidance, care and support she deeply appreciates.
