Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodríguez have reportedly entered marriage with a clear financial boundary between them.
The couple signed a prenuptial agreement in Lisbon on August 10, one day before their private wedding in Cascais, Portugal.
The agreement places their marriage under a separation-of-assets regime, meaning each keeps ownership of their individual property and assets.
Under the arrangement, assets Ronaldo or Georgina owned before the marriage remain theirs, while individually acquired property can also stay separate.
Anything they buy together can remain jointly owned.
The arrangement stands out because of the enormous wealth both have accumulated.
Ronaldo has built his fortune through football, endorsements and business ventures, while Georgina has developed her own career in modelling, fashion and social media.
Reports have also revived claims that Georgina could receive €100,000 a month if the couple separate.
However, that figure comes from media reports and should not be treated as a confirmed term of the marriage documents.
The clearest reported term remains the separation of assets, giving both spouses a degree of financial independence within the marriage.
