Grace Nakimera has revealed that the glamour surrounding her life as a star was not enough to keep her first marriage together.
The Ugandan singer opened up about the relationship on The Deep Talk, describing her former marriage as a wonderful one and revealing that the couple share a child.

But behind the good moments, Nakimera said they struggled with something she considered crucial: having a shared vision for the future.
She described herself as a big dreamer who likes to imagine where a relationship will be years down the road.
I am a very big dreamer. I see myself with you, I see the future, I see 20 years, I see 30, I see grandchildren. I visualise a lot.
Nakimera said her former husband appreciated her glamorous lifestyle and her identity as a star, but that admiration did not translate into shared plans for their future.
I was seeing far but he was not. There was all this glam about me that he liked, me being a star, but the dreams we had to put in place did not align.

As time went on, she found the lack of progress increasingly difficult to live with.
When you reach a certain age with your partner and nothing is progressing, it is very draining and you lose energy.
