David Krumholtz is stepping away from acting after more than three decades in Hollywood.
The “Oppenheimer” and “Numb3rs” actor announced that he has put his career on hold, saying years of chasing work and dealing with the pressures of the industry had left him frustrated and exhausted.
Krumholtz admitted that he had feared taking the step because he did not know how he would make money outside acting.
But once he made the decision, he said a huge sense of relief followed.
The actor later clarified that he is not retiring or quitting acting for good. Instead, he is taking an indefinite break to focus on his mental health and figure out what comes next.
For now, Krumholtz is stepping away from the Hollywood grind, but he has not ruled out a return.
