Dokta Brain has written songs for several artists, but there is still one name he would love to add to his list: Bebe Cool.
The songwriter revealed that he hopes to one day write directly for the veteran singer, whose ability to interpret and deliver music has long impressed him.
For Dokta Brain, the appeal lies in hearing what Bebe could do with a song written specifically with his voice and style in mind.
Interestingly, their musical paths have already crossed, although not in the way Dokta Brain would like.
Bebe Cool has previously sung lyrics from the songwriter’s pen through “Koona,” the song he collaborated on with Ray Signature.
Dokta Brain had written the track for Ray, and according to him, Bebe may not even have known who was behind the lyrics.
I have never worked with Bebe Cool. The only time he sang lyrics I had written was when he collaborated with Ray Signature on “Koona.” Ray had asked me to write him a song with that kind of vibe, and I do not think Bebe knew I was the one who wrote it.
That connection, however, is not the collaboration he has in mind.
While Bebe has already given his voice to one of his songs, Dokta Brain still hopes for the opportunity to write something specifically for him.
For now, “Koona” remains the link between them.
The next step, if Dokta Brain gets his wish, could see Bebe Cool singing lyrics written for him from the very beginning.
