Entertainment journalist Kasuku has tipped Western Uganda’s Ray G to become the biggest music artist in Uganda within the next two to three years.
According to Kasuku, Ray G has the aura, talent and strategy needed to take over the Ugandan music scene, adding that the singer’s intentional approach to his career could make it difficult for other artists, particularly those from Central Uganda, to reclaim the top spot once he gets there.
He knows what he’s doing, so don’t be shocked in two or three years when he’s the biggest artist in the country. It might take Central artists a lot of time to remove him because he’s intentional about whatever he’s doing.
Kasuku also praised Ray G for building a strong personal brand and presenting himself as a star. He noted that the singer’s reserved personality and limited public chatter have also contributed to his image.

While discussing King Saha, Kasuku argued that the singer has already reached the pinnacle of his career, but maintaining that position will be his biggest challenge going forward.
