Bad Black is calling on women to show up, speak out and find strength in their stories at her upcoming event, “Beauty Beyond the Scars.”
The Ugandan socialite and businesswoman, born Shanitah Namuyimbwa, unveiled the event during a press conference held on August 24, where she appeared alongside several guests to share the idea behind the initiative.
Set for September 12 at Skyz Hotel Kampala, “Beauty Beyond the Scars” will bring women together to share their experiences, listen to one another and draw encouragement from the stories behind them.
The event centres on the idea that difficult experiences and painful chapters should not define a woman’s worth.
Instead, Bad Black wants women to embrace their journeys, rebuild their confidence and find the strength to move forward.
She urged women and members of the public to turn up and support the initiative, which will focus on healing, encouragement, empowerment, and open conversations.
With September 12 approaching, all eyes will be on Skyz Hotel Kampala as Bad Black brings “Beauty Beyond the Scars” to life.
Women should come to #BeautyBeyondTheScars on September 12 for support and a shoulder to lean on. My past inspired me to share my story and uplift others. – Bad Black#SanyukaUnCut #SanyukaUpdates #FfeBannoDdala pic.twitter.com/YyjNjT6PcA
