King Saha hits back after Viboyo questions his first family ties – Sqoop

King Saha has hit back at fellow musician Viboyo, dismissing his recent remarks and accusing him of struggling with mental health issues.

In a strong response, Saha urged the public not to take Viboyo’s statements seriously, while saying he would instead try to help him.a

“There’s a guy called Viboyo; he is mentally disturbed, please. When you spot him, don’t take him seriously because he is crazy,” Saha said.

He went on to repeat his claims about Viboyo’s mental state, adding that he would not encourage people to attack or insult him.

“Don’t beat him, don’t blame him, and don’t comment wrongly. Viboyo is crazy. I didn’t know, but I just got to learn about his challenges. So, I’m going to try and help him,” he said.

Saha’s remarks come amid growing tension between the two musicians, with their disagreement reportedly linked to comments Viboyo made about Saha’s connection to Uganda’s First Family.

Viboyo had questioned whether Saha could use his relationship with Racheal Kente, the daughter of Gen Salim Saleh, to help secure the release of people detained over political activities.

“But can’t King plead with one of his fathers-in-law to help free our brothers and sisters rotting in jail for politics?” Viboyo said, arguing that Saha’s relationship could give him an advantage in such efforts.

He described himself as a concerned NUP-registered member who had voted for his president twice.

The remarks appear to have added another layer to the already tense relationship between the two musicians, with Saha now responding publicly and offering to help Viboyo despite the harsh nature of his comments.

Saha concluded by saying his response was motivated by what he described as having a merciful heart.

“I’m going to work hard and help him,” he said.
