ONER, a brand of Hariss International, is once again supporting the Little Hands Go Green Annual Green Festival, reinforcing the company’s long-standing commitment to environmental conservation and its ambition to build a better future for Uganda.
The Annual Green Festival, organised by Little Hands Go Green, takes place today, Sunday 23 August 2026, at Lugogo Grounds and brings together more than 10,000 children and their families for a day of fun, learning and practical environmental action.
For ONER and Hariss International, the partnership goes beyond sponsorship. Since 2016, ONER has supported the Little Hands Go Green Festival, recognising the important role that environmental education plays in inspiring the next generation to become responsible stewards of the environment.
The festival gives children aged 3–13 an opportunity to learn about environmental conservation through games, entertainment and interactive activities. A key highlight is the provision of a free fruit tree seedling to every child attending, giving them the opportunity to take the environmental message home, plant a tree and nurture it.

Hariss International has made sustainability an important part of its business and community agenda, with a focus on practical action that creates positive environmental and social impact. The company’s sustainability efforts also include the large-scale distribution of fruit trees in partnership with Little Hands Go Green, alongside initiatives such as providing recycling bins to schools, repurposing plastic waste and investing in water recycling capabilities.
