After taking her feud with Crysto Panda into deeply personal territory, Gloria Bugie has apologised to fans over remarks that sparked backlash online.
The singer came under fire after a now-deleted post in which she referenced some of Panda’s most painful personal experiences, including being an orphan and losing a child.
In a new post, Bugie acknowledged that her response had disappointed some of her fans. She also accused the media personality of repeatedly attacking her, her career and her family.

I am sorry to my fans that I have disappointed with my latest tweet about a media personality that has been sending merciless, endless attacks to me, my career & family while tagging me on their professional accounts. Meanwhile, I have not posted anyone or tagged them.
The controversy followed an online exchange that reportedly began after Bugie said she could teach Panda how to sing and hit the right notes.
Panda responded with criticism of Bugie and her career, and the exchange soon moved beyond music.
In her now-deleted August 26 post, Bugie brought up Panda’s late parents, the loss of his child, his career struggles and his financial situation.

The remarks triggered strong reactions online, with many people taking issue with her decision to bring his personal losses into the feud.
Bugie later called for equal judgment and healing as she apologised again to her fans.
I just pray that all the judgments fall equally on both sides and may everybody heal. Once again, I am sorry, my people.
Panda had earlier indicated that he wanted to step away from the exchange after receiving advice from people he respects.
Bugie has since deleted the post that sparked the backlash.
