Cindy Sanyu has termed Gloria Bugie’s online attack against Crysto Panda’s lost baby and parents as “over the line,” but claims the battle was fair because the singer also attacked Bugie’s body, which is very sensitive to any woman.

The week coming to a close had quite a lot going on, including an online back-and-forth war of words between artists, Gloria Bugie and Crysto Panda.
Their beef that has stretched for years reached a boiling point when Gloria Bugie, via X, attacked Crysto Panda’s status as an orphan. She also stated that his losing a child was a result of karma because of his bad heart.
“Ever sat down and wondered why you are an orphan, lost a child, keep losing, after all years of hustling, trying every career, you’re still a mediocre,” Bugie wrote.
Sheebah Karungi Slams Gloria Bugie
Bugie’s statements drew immediate backlash from netizens who called her out, including her fellow artist, Sheebah Karungi, who criticised her attack, referring to it as “evil.”
“If you are the kind of human being who can use someone’s greatest loss of a mother, a father, or a child as a weapon to attack them, then you are an evil spirit,” Sheebah wrote via X.
Cindy Sanyu Calls It Square
Cindy Sanyu, however, thinks the war was fair as both sides left wounded. In an interview with Tawfiq Media, the self-styled King Herself noted that Crysto Panda’s attack on Bugie’s body made it inevitable for the songstress to respond harshly.
I think the war is fair. There was fire from the East, and then came fire from the West, so it doesn’t matter how brutal it is. A war is a war. It’s fire for fire. There is no innocent side. There was so much heat from one side, and the other side retaliated.
This is a woman; our bodies are sacred to us, and we are very sensitive about our bodies. Somebody has taken time to make themselves beautiful, and you just trash all her efforts in one go. it would hurt a woman very deeply.
What she said was over the line but at the end of the day it is a fair battle. They can each heal their wounds and let that be over.
