Jermaine Dupri may have revealed one of “Grand Theft Auto VI’s” biggest music features, claiming Drake will have his own radio station inside the highly anticipated game.
The veteran American producer made the claim during a 2025 appearance on the “New Rory & Mal” podcast, where he discussed a conversation about working on the next “Grand Theft Auto” game.
Dupri said the developers told him Drake would have his own station and could use it to introduce music that fans had never heard before.
They asked me to do Grand Theft Auto, and they were saying like Drake got his own radio station on Grand Theft Auto.
He then described a feature that could give the Canadian rapper an unusual way to release music.
The way that they are getting ready to do it is that Drake can actually upload music that we probably ain’t never heard online or wherever else, on that video game.
Dupri made the comments in 2025, but they have resurfaced as anticipation builds for “Grand Theft Auto VI,” which Rockstar Games currently plans to release on May 26, 2026.
Rockstar has already confirmed that music will play a major role in the game, and the company has revealed several artists and songs connected to its fictional Vice City setting.
However, it has not officially announced a Drake-owned radio station or confirmed that artists will have the ability to upload unreleased music directly into the game.
That leaves Dupri’s claim as an intriguing possibility rather than a confirmed feature.
If his information proves accurate, Drake could effectively turn “GTA VI” into another platform for debuting music, giving players access to tracks that may not appear on traditional streaming services at the same time.
