Three people have died after a Canter truck lost control and crashed into a boda-boda stage along Kafumbe Mukasa Road in Kisenyi, Kampala.
The fatal crash happened at around 11:00am today, involving Canter truck UAX 513N.
Police said the truck driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle before it veered into a stage where boda-boda riders were parked.
Two boda-boda riders died instantly at the scene.

Another pedestrian who was seriously injured in the crash was rushed for medical attention but later succumbed to the injuries, bringing the death toll to three.
The truck driver reportedly fled the scene immediately after the crash but was later arrested by police.
He is currently being held at Old Kampala Central Police Station as investigations continue into the circumstances that led to the deadly collision.
Police have urged motorists to exercise maximum caution, particularly when driving through busy and congested areas.
Motorists have also been reminded to maintain controlled speeds and ensure their vehicles are in proper mechanical condition to prevent avoidable crashes.
The latest crash adds to growing concerns over road safety in Kampala, where busy roads, pedestrian activity and boda-boda stages can create high-risk conditions when motorists lose control of their vehicles.
Police have appealed to all road users to exercise greater care and observe traffic regulations.
