Fans may have been waiting for Kapeke to announce his first concert, but the Ugandan dancehall and hip-hop artist says he is not ready to make that announcement yet.
Despite having enjoyed trending music in previous years and building a reputation for danceable tracks, Kapeke does not want to rush into staging a concert simply because his supporters are asking for one.
He made his position clear during an interview on Sanyuka Tunnyuke, saying he will wait until he feels ready before making his concert debut.
In the meantime, he intends to keep the music coming, perform in different regions of Uganda and maintain his connection with fans across the world.
The “Kaba” hitmaker, however, did not leave his fans without something to anticipate.
He revealed that he has a special project coming, with young people expected to be at the centre of it.
I cannot hold a concert right now, but I have something special coming for my fans, especially the youths and young people because they are the ones I make my music for.
Kapeke stopped short of revealing what he has planned, keeping the details of the project under wraps for now.
